An installation in two iterations produced in collaboration with Preus’s former partner, Genevieve Wolff, for Open House Contemporary, The Neutralized Third explored the externalization of an intimate relationship through material associations. Made for a bedroom with salvaged wood, packing materials, string, yarn, plastic, fabric, and paint.
