1999-2016. Commissioned by Our Saviors Lutheran Church in the Phillips neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. An altar and lectern made from a large cherry tree taken down by a thunderstorm, combined with white oak taken down by humans to straighten the road to the airport. Among the white oak trees were a few deemed sacred by the local Ojibway population. For this reason the road reroute became politically contentious.
